“What Is a Brickfilm?”

"A ''brickfilm'' is a film/sketch produced using Lego, or lego related products and are created using the art of stop motion animation, a technique in film to animate inanimate objects, and may contain visual effects and anything else that the director/animator would like to incorporate into the film. The term 'brickfilm' was coined by Jason Rowoldt, founder of Brickfilms.com". (brickfilming.wikia.com)

This websites aims to you help you to create brickfilms. Before starting to make your brickfilm, have a look at the 'Help & How To' section of the site or perhaps watch some existing brickfilms. Then move into the challenges or creating your very own brickfilm.

 

Once you have created a brickfilm upload it to Youtube or Vimeo and send in your link to the site using the submissions page. Your brickfilms will be posted in 'Your Space' as a way of sharing and giving feedback to each other.

 

The site also fetures a 'Chatroom' so you can talk to other brickfilmers online.
